Father's Day Hike

Fathers Day weekend we went down to the Trinity Audubon Center. They had some short "hiking" trails. It was a gorgeous morning, but very humid. Ellie adores her dad. We are so grateful for him, his hard work, and for always being present when he is home. He gives everything he has for our family.

Our friend's Flora and Elizabeth came and visited us one  day last week. We went out to the pool to swim. Ellie and I have been swimming a lot the last two weeks. It has been hot! Swimming has been the only thing that has felt good to me.

On Friday evening we went out and spent the evening at the pool. Ellie loves swimming. We have to be super careful with her trach so it doesn't get in the water. She is very comfortable in the water now and wants to do all of the things her friends do now too. It can make swimming a little difficult, but we still have a lot of fun.

For her birthday she asked for "swimming lessons". We can't really put her in them, so we told her we would go out and do swimming lessons with her.

She always has a permanent smile on her face.. until we get out of the pool.

Saturday was a busy, but great day. We have been trying to do little things here and there to get ready for baby girl to come next month. In the morning we cleaned out our deep freezer and defrosted it. It was nice to get it all organized so now I can fill it with freezer meals. I order our meats from Zaycon foods so it is stocked with a lot of meat too.  Ismael then went to do work for a few hours. After Ellie woke up from her nap, we went to the children's garden at the Arboretum. It was so hot and humid! I can't believe I survived outside! It was fun to look around at all of the different beautiful flowers and plants and do some activities with Ellie.

Here I am at 34 weeks pregnant. I have been feeling so great up until last week. I have been a lot more tired and sore. It is crazy to think I had Ellie at 35 weeks. We are getting really excited to add another girl to our family!

Ismael has been really busy at work lately and he is also serving in our bishopric at church. We have been trying to make more use of our time while he is home and just be together. Life sure has been great lately.

Over Memorial weekend, we took a road trip to Alabama to visit the Opperman family. The Merkley's and my mom were also able to come. We had so much fun with our family! I hardly even saw Ellie the whole week because she had so many cousins playing with her. It was great!!

One evening we took a walk  down around a pond near their house.

Couple Pictures:

Dylan caught a little lizard:

The kids played on the playground for a long time.

All of the kids caught a little frog.

Bonnie letting the frog go:

On Memorial day, we went the to Tuskagee Airmen Musuem. It was very interesting and I loved learning more about the Tuskagee Airmen.

There were lots of dance parties that went on throughout the week. Cayden played "Let it Go" on the piano for all of the girls.

P.S. that is you, Chrissy, on Skype in the background ;)

Every night we were there, Ellie fell asleep

Jenny and Lee watched the kids one day so we could go to the Rosa Parks Musuem. Amazing!

One night we did smores and had a dance party.

More dancing!

It stormed a lot while we were there. We took advantage of the one morning that was sunny to go to the pool.

We had the best time and always love spending time with family and cousins!
